West Goshen Township hosts a free art reception Thursday, Sept. 17, from 7 to 8 p.m. at the administration building, 1025 Paoli Pike.

The reception highlights the West Goshen Resident Art Exhibit, which features paintings, sculptures, photographs, drawings, quilts, needlepoints and other work by amateur and professional artists who live in the township. Both floors of the building display the pieces, according to the township.

The exhibit opened Sept. 1 and runs through Oct. 30.

Residents who want to browse outside the reception can visit Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday visits are available by appointment by emailing [email protected].

West Goshen's Park and Recreation Department has a free stargazing party planned for Saturday, Oct. 3, at 7 p.m. at West Goshen Community Park, 1023 Fern Hill Road. The Chester County Astronomical Society will co-host.
