West Chester University's football team fell 41-14 at No. 3 Kutztown on Saturday, Oct. 24, dropping to 4-4 with three games left to salvage a winning season.

The Golden Rams are 1-3 in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division after the loss at Andre Reed Stadium. Kutztown improved to 8-0 overall and 4-0 in the PSAC East, extending its regular-season winning streak to 39 games, according to Kutztown athletics.

Kutztown quarterback Judd Novak set the tone on the Golden Bears' second play from scrimmage. The fifth-year senior found a gap up the middle and outran the WCU defense 70 yards for a touchdown. Novak finished with five total touchdowns, throwing for three and rushing for two. He ran five times for 116 yards and completed 11 of 16 passes for 158 yards.

The PSAC named Novak its Eastern Division Offensive Athlete of the Week for the performance, according to the conference.

WCU trailed 27-0 before quarterback Colin O'Sullivan connected with Adrien Mosley on a 23-yard touchdown pass with 1:55 left in the first half. Kutztown answered before halftime on a 15-yard touchdown catch by Rich Paczewski, pushing the lead to 34-7 at the break.

The Golden Rams opened the second half with an 18-play, 63-yard scoring drive that ate more than eight minutes of clock. Efrain Quiles scored on a 1-yard run to cut the deficit to 34-14. WCU held Kutztown to just seven plays in the third quarter but could not close the gap further, misfiring on a fourth-down pass at the Kutztown 33.

Ty'renne Hynson caught a 6-yard touchdown pass from Novak early in the fourth quarter for the final score.

Kutztown dominated on the ground, outrushing WCU 281-40. O'Sullivan completed 32 of 44 passes for 230 yards, according to PSAC weekly notes. The Golden Rams rank second in the PSAC in pass defense, allowing 141.4 yards per game.

Head coach Duke Greco's squad went 4-7 in 2025. Through eight games, WCU has already matched that win total. The Golden Rams need at least two wins in their final three games to finish above .500.

The Golden Rams travel to Bloomsburg (6-2, 3-1 PSAC East) on Saturday, Oct. 31, for a 2 p.m. kickoff. They return home to Farrell Stadium to host Shippensburg (3-5, 1-3 PSAC East) on Nov. 7 before closing the regular season at Gannon (1-7) on Nov. 14.
